Join the Telugu Community in Celebrating the Spirit of India
Dear Telugu and Indian Community Members,
TACA (Telugu Association of Canada) warmly invites you, your family, and friends to come together in celebrating the 79th Independence Day of India with pride, unity, and patriotism.
As part of the grand Panorama India Independence Day Parade, TACA is proud to represent both the Telugu states—Andhra Pradesh and Telangana—with a vibrant decorated float (truck) showcasing our rich culture, traditions, and unity.
📅 Date: Sunday, August 16 12 Noon to 9pm
📍 Venue: Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto
🎉 Event: Panorama India Independence Day Parade
Come dressed in your traditional attire or the colors of the Indian tricolor as we:
- Honor the Indian National Flag with pride.
- 🎶 Celebrate India’s freedom with joy and enthusiasm.
- 🚛 March together alongside TACA’s Andhra Pradesh & Telangana float.
- 🤝 Showcase the unity, heritage, and vibrant culture of the Telugu community.
- ❤️ Spread the spirit of India with pride, respect, and togetherness.
This is a wonderful opportunity for every Telugu family and every Indian to stand together, celebrate our shared heritage, and make our presence felt at one of Canada’s largest Indian Independence Day celebrations.
Let us come together in large numbers to make this celebration memorable and demonstrate the strength, unity, and cultural richness of our Telugu and Indian communities.

TACA UGADI UTSAVALU 2026

On behalf of the TACA Governing Board, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in and supported TACA UGADI UTSAVALU 2026, held on 21st March at Toronto Pavilion, North York.
Your enthusiastic participation, vibrant performances, and continuous support made the celebration of our Telugu New Year, Sree Parabhava (శ్రీ పరాభవ నామ సంవత్సరం) Nama Samvatsaram, truly memorable and grand. From the wonderful Tollywood and Classical dance performances to singing, instrumental presentations, and creative programs like skits and fashion shows, every performance added color and energy to the event.
We sincerely appreciate all the participants, volunteers, organizers, families, and community members who took the time to join us and make this event a great success. Your encouragement helps us continue promoting and celebrating our rich Telugu culture and traditions in our community.
A special thanks to all the performers and supporters who worked hard behind the scenes to bring such an amazing program to the stage.

TACA sincerely thanks everyone for making Deepavali Dhamaka 2025 a grand success.
The Toronto Pavilion was filled with festive spirit, and the stage came alive with a magnificent screen and scintillating performances.
The new governing board of TACA (2025–2027) took their oath to serve the community to the best of their abilities. The outgoing board (2023–2025) was appreciated and felicitated for their valuable contributions.
Our esteemed sponsors were also recognized for their generous support toward TACA and the Telugu community.
